Limburg water is hard, and you see it first in the shower. We remove limescale from tiles, glass and taps, and treat your terrace and thresholds outdoors as well.
Hard water leaves a mineral layer that bonds to glass and tiles. Weekly scrubbing keeps it in check but doesn't remove it, and after a few years a shower screen is permanently dull. That's the point at which most people call us.
Indoors and outdoors
Limescale inside and green growth outside are two different problems. We do both.
No acid on old stone
On thresholds and bluestone it attacks the surface. We'd rather take longer.
Test patch first
On an inconspicuous spot, so you see the result before we continue.
Aftercare finish
A layer that slows the buildup returning, so it lasts longer.
A photo of the buildup is often enough for a first estimate.

Treatment and protection
Usually one day for a bathroom or a typical terrace.
"Our shower screen was completely dull after eight years. I thought we'd have to replace it."
"Terrace covered in green growth and stains from the planters. Looks like new again."
"They did a test patch first and said what would and wouldn't work. I appreciate that."

The water in Limburg is hard, so more scale is left behind with every shower. On glass that layer bonds into the micropores, and after a while an ordinary bathroom cleaner won't shift it.
Usually it can. Only where the glass has been worked with abrasive cleaner for years are there scratches holding the scale, and then the result is limited. We see that at the test patch and will tell you honestly.
After treatment, a squeegee after each shower keeps most of it at bay. We also apply a layer that helps water run off faster.
On solid, recent slabs you can. On old paving or weathered bluestone the jet opens the top layer, so dirt penetrates faster and it returns sooner.
Then we stop and you pay nothing. Better an honest no than a treatment that doesn't deliver what you expected.
A bathroom is usually half a day to a full day. A typical terrace one day including dwell time.

Request your quoteLimburg has hard water, and you notice it first on the shower screen and the taps. Schoonmaakhasselt removes limescale indoors and also treats terraces, garden paths and thresholds in Hasselt, Kiewit, Runkst, Kuringen and Godsheide.
Indoors and outdoors are two different problems. Limescale is a mineral deposit from hard water that bonds into the micropores of glass and tiles. Green growth on a terrace is organic and thrives where it's damp and shaded. Each needs a different product, which is why a single all-purpose cleaner rarely works on both.
